2026 Buckeye Blast

A Letter From the Match Directors

Welcome to the 2026 USPSA Ohio State Buckeye Blast Championship hosted by Cardinal Shooting Center. I am very excited that so many outstanding competitors will be joining this long-standing state championship match. The many years of Buckeye Blast matches that preceded the 2026 version paved the way for what we hope will be a great experience for you.

I would like to thank the more than 80 volunteers who have taken time from their busy schedules to help support the match and provide you a safe and fun environment to compete — please be sure to thank them as well! Next, we have an amazing group of sponsors who have provided support to make this the best match possible. When you are looking for new or replacement equipment, please start your search with the sponsors you'll find in this matchbook. They support us so we should support them.

I would like to specifically recognize our Range Masters, Khory Katz and Dan Click, who have provided outstanding guidance and suggestions as we look to provide safe and challenging stages for your enjoyment. They will be on the range throughout the match and are available to assist you.

We value your input and look forward to your feedback. Please let me or the staff know your thoughts including the good, the bad, and the ugly. Also, after the match, we will send you a survey to provide an additional opportunity to provide feedback.

Thank you again for competing in the Buckeye Blast, be safe, and have fun!
